What's On Odai JP

The Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Trails is a network of trails through the deep mountains in the southern part of the Kii Peninsula. The old trails link the Kumano Sanzan (the three grand shrines of Kumano) - Hongu Taisha, Hayatama Taisha and Nachi Taisha - to Ise, Osaka, Wakayama, Koyasan or Yoshino. Although most of the coastal trails have disappeared with development, several trails still remain which are Ise-ji, Kii-ji, Kohechi, Nakahechi (the main route), Ohechi and Kohechi.
